Single person discount
If you are the only person in your household over 18 years old, we can take 25% off your Council Tax bill.
To qualify for this discount, the move must be permanent. If someone is leaving the property to work away from home or any other temporary basis, please contact us.
If you are claiming single person discount due to a recent bereavement, please contact us.
If you are no longer the only person aged 18 or over in your household, you must let us know through our online form within 21 days. If you do not, you may receive a fine.
