Housing advice during the coronavirus outbreak

We know the coronavirus will have a significant impact on individuals and families across the county and it is a fast evolving situation. While we are working to implement measures where possible to support our residents, we have put together a list of support currently available.

Housing advice

The government has announced measures to protect renters and landlords affected by coronavirus (see Gov.uk press release).

If you have any worries about losing your home, please contact us on 03000 268 000 - or visit our Get help to avoid becoming homeless page for more information.

Financial support

See Financial support during the coronavirus outbreak for support available, including:

  • Council tax
  • Help to pay your rent
  • Housing benefit
  • Help with living expenses
  • Claiming benefits through Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
