Blink Cosmetic Solutions

We gave Sandra set-up advice for her first premises in February 2014. Sandra has since outgrown these premises and now has two further premises. Sandra said, "The advice that Environmental Health officers have given me over the years has been invaluable, especially when I first started the business. It's helped me to grow my company safely."

CrossFit All Out

Vikki Anderson from CrossFit All Out said 'I would advise any business, small or large, to get in touch with the council and double check, because if you're investing in a new business, you want to make sure you have everything in place to make it a success'.

Watch Vikki explain how BBfA helped her:

While BBfA will help any business, our focus is on smaller businesses, who often need the most help.

Who are the partners?

BBfA brings together businesses and the regulatory services in the Durham area (including Environmental Health, Licensing, Trading Standards and the Fire and Rescue Service) as well as the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

Changing how we work together

We want to change the culture of how businesses and regulators work together, so we provide what businesses need from us in order for them to grow and prosper.
