Our aqua classes
Our aqua classes are pool-based classes, using the resistance of the water and aerobic style moves. This is a great way to work out in a fun environment, while removing any impact on the joints. It is especially good for injury rehabilitation.
These classes are available at our pools across the county - visit our swimming pools to find out the latest timetable information. Examples of classes are:

Aqua class details
This all-time favorite class is a great interval training workout. Mix up your routine with a variety of body conditioning and cardio-vascular exercise stations. Circuits work nearly every element of fitness from speed to strength. Our instructors will motivate you when the going gets tough, but be prepared to be challenged.

A underwater spin on a traditional cycling class, Aqua cycle involves pedalling against the resistance of the water, while the buoyancy reduces the impact on your muscles and joints.
Experience all the benefits of an aerobics class but in the water. Water adds support and resistance to your body and our instructors will make sure this resistance is maximised to increase the intensity of your workout. If you thought a water workout was easy, then think again.

Running in water is a great way to add some variety to your exercise routine. This class uses aquajog belts to help you keep your balance upright in the water. You can work at your own pace, so whether you are a regular land runner looking for something to compliment your training regime, or you want some low impact exercise, this class can be tailored to suit you.

Using underwater trampolines, this instructor led class is filled with fun, high energy and will give you a great workout.
Using water resistance for a waistline workout and buoyancy to replicate gymnastic style flexibility and improve core strength.

Integrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba® blends it all together into a workout that's cardio-conditioning, bodytoning and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
