Sale of books and publications in libraries

Sales of unwanted library stock are held throughout the year at some of our libraries in County Durham.

virus

Some of our libraries are closed and some are open for the Pick and Collect service only. Please find a library for more information.

Fines will not be charged while this is in place.

If you are a library member, you can borrow book using our Pick and Collect library service, or borrow ebooks, eaudiobooks, emagazines, enewspapers and ecomics free of charge.

See our libraries YouTube playlist with regular content and information.

Each sale usually lasts for a month and takes place during normal library opening hours. The majority of sales feature non-fiction books for adults. It is not possible to supply listings of items being offered for sale.
