No changes to bin collections over August bank holiday

Published August 21, 2019 1.11pm

There will be no changes to bin collections in County Durham over the August bank holiday.

Rubbish, recycling and garden waste will be picked up as normal, on the usual collection day, during the week commencing Monday 26 August 2019.

Residents should put their bins out for collection by 7.00am on their normal collection day.

Those who are unsure of their collection day can download a bin collection calendar by entering their postcode and house number into the MyDurham section of our website.

For more information about bin collections please visit our Bin collection dates web page and to find out which items go where on our What goes in which bin? web page.
