Consultation on Chester-le-Street, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Stanley, Three Towns and Sniperley Master plans and Durham City Framework
We consulted on a series of draft master plans to set out a vision and general principles for the future development of a number of the county's settlements. Projects included in the master plans will be well placed to progress as sources of funding become available. This includes Levelling Up funding.

Background
We prepared draft master plans for Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Stanley, and Three Towns (Crook, Willington and Tow Law), as part of our commitment to enhancing the vibrancy of communities through our Towns and Villages programme. Together with a new regeneration framework for Durham City and an updated version of the Chester-le-Street Master plan, the documents set out projects aimed at boosting the prosperity of each location for generations to come.
