Lumiere

Lumiere is the UK's light art biennial festival, and was last on in November 2023, when Durham became a nocturnal art experience hosting works made with light on its streets, bridges, buildings and river.

It included iconic locations such as Market Place, Durham Cathedral's UNESCO World Heritage Site, the prestigious Durham University campus and Bishop Auckland town centre.
