Nurturing Little Minds - A weekly peer support group for those who have given birth within the last 12 months, who may be feeling alone, isolated, or worried about their emotional wellbeing or mental health. Pre-school group for children with complex needs (Portage) - For families of children aged 2 to 3 years, who are experiencing challenges interacting and communicating with others. It allows parents and carers to meet other families in a supportive group. Families must be working with the Portage Service to attend the group. Thursday (term-time only)1.00pm to 2.30pm
Early Latch Support - For babies aged between 10 days and 6 weeks, it will give you hints and tips to help you breastfeed successfully. Appointments can be booked by your health visitor.Thursday10.00am to 1.00pm

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Nurse Drop-in  - For parents and carers of children aged 5 - 19 years old. You can drop in and speak to a CAMHS worker about your child's need. One of the Family Hub team will also be available to give you more information about what we offer for parents, carers and children.

Support sessions for parents of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) -  If your child has SEND and attends one of the following schools Stanley and you would like information and advice about what is available to support their needs then these sessions are for you.

You can get advice and guidance around the type of support your child may receive in their school/college, find out about further services available to you and your child in your local area, get advice about services available to your child's school/college.

You do not need a diagnosis to attend, and sessions are drop-in, you do not need an appointment. We will see people on a first come, first served basis, for a maximum of 20 minutes.
