How to have your say on plans currently in development

Find out how you can have your say on plans that are being developed.

Current Consultations

In the process of neighbourhood planning, there are a number of different points where consultation is required which allows people to have their say on development. These include:

  • Designating a neighbourhood area (minimum 6 weeks in circumstances where a consultation is required)
  • Designating a neighbourhood forum
  • Pre-Submission draft neighbourhood plan or order consultation (minimum 6 weeks/qualifying body)
  • Neighbourhood plan or order submission (minimum 6 weeks)
  • Referendum

You can find out whether a plan or order is under consultation or has already been 'made' in your area on the Neighbourhood planning - what's happening? page.
