Moorside Cemetery

The cemetery was officially opened in August 2009. It covers two hectares and has areas for burial and cremated remains and babies and children's gardens. 

The attractive floral displays, shrubs and trees provide a haven for wildlife and birds.

The cemetery has a Green Flag Award. These awards recognise well managed parks and open spaces for all to enjoy. The Green Flag Awards are the benchmark national standard for parks and green spaces in the UK.
