EU Settlement Scheme


If you're an EU citizen, you and your family can now apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2021 - or 31 December 2020 should the UK leave the EU without a deal.

How to apply

You can apply for presettled or settled stats using the online form available on Gov.uk.

Identity Verification

As part of the process you need to scan and verify your biometric ID documents (for example your passport or residence card) either on your phone or tablet. See Gov.uk to check if you can use the app on your phone

To verify and scan your documents, download the EU Exit ID Document Check app in the App Store (for iPhones) or in Google Play (for android devices).
