With Healthy Start, you get free vouchers every week to spend on milk, fresh, frozen, and tinned fruit and vegetables, fresh, dried, and tinned pulses, and infant formula milk. You can also get free vitamins.

Find out if you qualify

You qualify for Healthy Start vouchers if you're at least 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under four years old and you or your family get certain benefits - see Healthy Start: do I qualify?.

You will also qualify if you are under 18 and pregnant.

What you can get

  • pregnant women can get a weekly £4.25 voucher
  • children over 1 and under 4 can get a weekly £4.25 voucher
  • children under 1 can get two £4.25 vouchers (£8.50) per week.
  • vitamin coupons (if you receive Healthy Start food vouchers)
