Guided countryside walks

These walks take place throughout County Durham's countryside covering various terrain, from surfaced paths to rough track surfaces, moorland, streams, stiles and inclines. The walks range from short two mile strolls, to long, hard hikes of up to 15 miles. They are a great way to take in beautiful views, discover more about nature including the wide range of plants and animals that make their homes here, and explore the rich historical and geological heritage of County Durham.
