School visits

We encourage services and schools to provide safe and challenging educational visits for children and young people. These could be anything from a trip to the local church to an expedition to Peru.

Our Educational Visits, Off Site Activities and On-Site ‘Adventures’ Policy and Guidance (PDF, 365 KB) is based on nationally recognised guidance that provides schools, services and group leaders with the support needed to plan and deliver both safe and challenging outdoor experiences to children and young people of all ages and abilities.
