Healthy families growing up 6-12 course

The course is for parents and carers of children aged 6-12, who would like support and ideas to develop a healthier family lifestyle which parents and children can both enjoy.

There are eight sessions that include:

parenting confidence - thinking about the changes you want to make, healthy families and what you can do to help
physical activity for the whole family - enjoying getting active as a family
what children and families eat - healthier meals and snacks, portion size, and food groups
family lifestyle habits - exploring peer pressure and body image
enjoying life as a family - negotiating agreement as a family including food, screen time and sleep

Our next programme starts 9 January 2025 between 9.30am and 11.00am, online using Microsoft Teams.
