Community Allotment Project

Would you like to spend time outside, help your community and learn more about planting and growing your own food? Join us as we transform allotment plots in Spennymoor.

Working in partnership with the OASES (Outdoor and Sustainability Education Specialists) group, our community allotment project is for dads, male carers and other men in the family such as uncles and grandads.

You will learn practical skills, make new friends and make a difference to the local community.

We will also have a fun day with kids during October half-term - details to follow!

The group will run every Monday from 1.00pm to 2.30pm, starting Monday 23 September 2024 at Spennymoor and Tudhoe Community Garden, Broom Street, Spennymoor, County Durham, DL16 6HW.

All equipment is provided, just remember to wear your 'work' clothes!
