Access to Do It Online may not be available due to essential maintenance during the early hours of Monday 26 May 2025. We expect it to be over by 8.30am. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are experiencing a very dry Spring and wildfires are more likely. Never intentionally start fires - do not use BBQs on any of our sites and get rid of cigarettes responsibly.

Bushes, hedges and shrubs

How we look after bushes, hedges and shrub borders.

Shrubs

Shrub beds are looked after seasonally, and we have a programme of work for regular grounds maintenance.

Hedges

We cut back hedges once a year. Hedge pruning is restricted by nesting birds and we only cut them back after the birds have finished breeding, unless there's a danger or the foliage is causing an obstruction.
