Walls beside roads

Walls are erected to provide security, privacy and to mark boundaries between different landowners.

In general the walls and fences that surround property and fields are erected by and are the responsibility of the landowner. However, we maintain and repair walls and fences that surround public roads and pavements:

report a problem with a council wall or fence
report a problem with a safety barrier
