Report damage or injury where you think we are liable
If it is out of hours and you consider this to be an emergency, please contact 03000 261 000.
Privacy notice - internal audit (insurable claims) (PDF, 111 KB)
Before filling in the form, you will need:
- the date and time of the incident
- the place it happened
- details of any witnesses
- insurers details if you have notified them (property or vehicle damage)
- reference numbers for emergency services if they were contacted
- the dates and times of hospital or GP visits (personal injury)
- the dates and times of veterinary visits (animal injury)
- photographs where possible
- your National Insurance number (we will need this if your report becomes a claim)
We will investigate your report. This could involve checking CCTV, vehicle tracking information or speaking to our staff. We may need to contact you to inspect any damage. We aim to respond to your report within 14 days and will notify you if we intend to proceed with a claim.
If the damage or injury you're reporting is caused by something we need to fix, reporting it could prevent an accident happening to someone else for example a pothole or unlit bollard.
Fraudulent claims
All claims are thoroughly investigated, and we prosecute anyone found to have submitted a fraudulent claim.
