Birthday parties at Hardwick Park

What's included

All packages include use of the yurt, room decoration, a one and a half hour led activity, food, full day parking permits and invitations for up to 25 children. 

Duration: three hours 

• 10.00am to 1.00pm (activities 10.30am to 12 noon)
• 1.00pm to 4.00pm (activities 1.30pm to 3.00pm) (spring and summer only)

Cost

Our party packages cost £295 for 25 children (it is possible we can accommodate more children - Contact Hardwick Park birthday parties). Please note there will be a price increase to £350 from 1 April.

What food the children will get

Food will be provided in a party box containing;

• ham or cheese sandwich
• crisps
• yoghurt
• chocolate bar
• Babybel
• flavoured drink

Half of the party boxes will contain ham and half will contain cheese. Signs will be clearly displayed with ingredients listed for parents to choose as appropriate for their child in accordance with Natasha's Law.

Note: party box contents may alter depending on availability. Please notify us of any dietary requirements.

Ages 3 to 6

Woodland Play Party 

Take a trail through the woods to our enclosed party space where your little ones can have fun exploring the environment, getting creative in the mud kitchen; swinging from the tree; climbing on the wooden play structures or joining in with themed crafts and games. 

There are three themes to choose from:

• woodland animals
• fairies
• superheroes

Fairies, Dragons and Unicorns

Help our mythical dragon find all of her eggs on our trail to rescue the unicorn. Then build magical creature houses and cast a spell using your very own woodland wand.

Ages 4 to 7

Mad about Mini beasts (April to September only)

Take part in mini beast hunts in the woodland areas and pond dipping in one of our ponds. You will learn about different types of mini beasts, their different habitats.

Woodland Wizards

Enjoy all things mystical on our Wizard Park Trail. Create your own woodland wand, practice casting spells and enjoy fizzing fun during our potion class. Finish off by taking part in the Wizard Games.

Ages 6 to 10

Super Spy Adventure

Start your spy adventure by creating your own ID badge before heading out to practise spy skills by cracking codes and trying field and training exercises. Then use those skills on a secret spy mission!

Wilderness Survival

Children will explore the woodland and then have chance to build their own shelters using natural materials. They will be given a fire lighting demonstration and end by sitting around their campfires with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate.

What to do on arrival

When arriving for your party, please remember Hardwick Park is a busy spot with lots going on, particularly near the car parks. Please make sure all your guests know to bring their invitation with them as it also doubles as a 'parking pass' for the day. The yurt's location is signed from the car parks and signage from the visitor centre will be put out on the day of your party.

Terms and conditions

Prices as above.

• A 50% deposit of £147.50 is required to confirm your birthday party booking. 
• The remaining balance of £147.50 must be paid ten working days (not including weekends) prior to the party date. 
• Payment cannot be taken on the day of the party. 

Payment can be made by: 

• debit card 
• credit card 
• cash in person (prior arrangement only)

Please confirm guest numbers, dietary requirements and any other information that may be relevant to our party leaders when paying the balance.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements as soon as possible. It is the responsibility of the party organiser to ensure that we are informed of all allergies and intolerances of the party child and guests. If not done at time of booking this must be done a maximum of ten days prior to the party date. 

Food will be provided in party boxes and will include:

• sandwiches (half of the party boxes will contain ham and half will contain cheese unless prior arrangements are made)
