Community Protection

Community Protection has responsibility for the functions of environmental health, trading standards and licensing.

The overall aim of the service is to protect and improve the health, safety, economic wellbeing and environment of the communities we serve. Services include:

food safety and standards

community health surveillance
licences
markets
pollution control
public health
fair trading
safety and metrology
