Disputing a benefit decision

If you are unhappy with a decision made about your benefit claim you can usually challenge it. The ways in which you can challenge a decision vary according to the benefit in question.

time limits
how to ask for a reconsideration of a decision
how to appeal a decision
how to prepare for a hearing
what to do at the hearing
how to take a case further if it is unsuccessful at a hearing
