Our Big Econ-versation

The economy means different things to different people.

It's about how much money we take home, the quality of our high streets, the opportunities available to our children, and the kinds of jobs that are out there. The economy also matters for our businesses - influencing whether we have the right people with the right skills to fill jobs, and the opportunities for businesses to be successful.

We'd like to have a conversation with you about the economy, talking about the things that really matter to you. We are then going to gather together everything you tell us and use it to develop an economic strategy for everyone across County Durham. Your views, experiences and ambitions will help us create the kind of economy we need for the lives we want to lead.
